The Gentleman begins this pattern by releasing his right hand from the Lady's shoulder blade. He brings his left hand (which is holding her right hand) through the middle and to the right to lead the first Cross Over Rock Step. The partners finish their Rock Step facing each other while they do the Chasse or the "Cha, Cha, Cha".

The Gentleman leaves his right palm up for the Lady's left hand and he then leads the Lady across to the other side -- his left -- for the second Cross Over Break and Rock Step. As he finishes the Rock Step, the partners again turn and face each other for the "Cha, Cha, Cha" step. The Gentleman then leads the Lady to his right for the third and last Cross Over Break.
