East Coast Swing Flirtation Rollout Pattern

The Flirtation Rollout is a combination of 3 elements: 1. Rolling into a flirtation or sweetheart position. 2. Two walking steps. and 3. The Rollout itself.

The pattern starts with rolling into a Flirtation or Sweetheart position. This is where the Gentleman leads the Lady into a inside turn while keeping hold of her left hand with his right hand. This brings her to his right side and creates a Flirtation or "wrapped" position. The man then does 2 walking steps forward around the Lady, leading her under his left arm, and then into the Rollout itself to finish the pattern.

From the Lady's standpoint, once she is in the Flirtation (wrapped) position, she will be doing her walks backward. She should remember to stand straight and face forward, not turn in toward the Gentleman. Her shoulders should be parallel with his as she does her backward steps.
