A great fun step, the Hitch Kick is indicative of the improvisational style of the West Coast Swing. Remember in West Coast it is important in your triple step to keep your weight under your body and use your knees to connect with the floor, and keep your feet in contact with the floor at all times,instead of rising up on your toes. For the lead in the Hitch Kick the Gentleman uses the rotation of his wrist to signal the lead to the Lady.
