For Brie the perfect weekend includes a game of softball, seeing a movie and just hanging out with family and her oldest friends. If she weren't a dancer she would like to be a social worker or a musician. And "I would love to have a cat." "My wonderful parents farm in southwest Iowa. My oldest brother also farms and his wife runs a day care center. My second oldest brother is a loan officer for Farm Credit. My niece is 2 years old and does her thing. They are all terrific.!"

Brie says she hopes to teach her students to relax and have fun. " I want them to have confidence, she says. "I started my teaching career at a TC Dance Club in Florida after moving there after College. But I missed my family back in Iowa so much that I transferred to the Kansas City Club which is closer to them. All in all, I'm a small town girl from Iowa, and I'm so excited to be part of the staff here at the Kansas City TC

Brie's favorite dance is Cha Cha and she loves getting to know people. "Dancing is so much fun, she says, so it is the best of both worlds." In school Brie participated in choir, swing choir, band, drama, speech, volleyball, softball, FCCLA and National Honor Society. She also enjoys singing and has sung in weddings. " I love playing softball and just being active. Although I also love seeing movies". She says the three words that best describe her personality are silly, thoughtful and sarcastic. "I am a huge Indiana Jones and Han Solo fan, so I love Harrison Ford."

Her favorite colors are blue and yellow and she loves to splurge on ice cream. She likes to vacation anywhere there is a lake, but hates it when people leave trash in her car.
