Jaimie Diaz says she truly enjoys teaching dance because, "I love to dance and I want people to feel the same way!" Besides instructing her Kansas City students in ballroom dances, patterns and technique, she hopes they will learn to relax and know that anyone can dance and enjoy it.

Jaimie's favorite dance is the Salsa and she describes her personality as outgoing, down to earth and goofy. In school she participated in track and her favorite pastime is being outside playing sports. If she could choose another occupation besides dancing she says she would be a therapist. Her favorite color is red, her favorite food indulgence, milk and Oreos, and the music she likes best is the "Rat Pack era," (in addition to Hip Hop.) As to any hidden talents she may have, she says, "I can belch like no other!"

What famous person (alive or dead) would Jaimie like to have dinner with? it would be Frank Sinatra, and she adds, "Need I say more!!" She lists her pet peeve as "people who walk away while you are talking to them."

Southern Italy would be Jaimie's favorite vacation spot and her favorite way to spend a weekend? "Being with my entire family!"
