BANQUERA BREAK in RUMBA
TC Dance Club Kansas City

Sexy and flirtatious, the Banquera Break in Rumba is a pattern that lets the Gentleman really show off his Lady --and lets the Lady really show off. Combining smaller steps and patterns like the Cross Body Leads, 2nd Position Break, Spiral Turn and the Fan. Rumba's Banquera Break is similar to the Rumba Open Cuban Walks from 5ths but is considered to be a slightly more advanced pattern at the Bronze II level. (Open Cuban Walks is a Bronze I pattern.) Both patterns, Gentleman and Lady, can enhance the fun and enjoyment of this exciting and sexy Rumba pattern with arm styling and great Cuban Motion..

Video 1 first demonstrates the entire Banquera Break pattern with the count. Then our instructors break it down for the Gentleman's footwork and then the Lady's footwork. Video 2 gives you an opportunity to see the exciting Rumba Banquera Break danced to music.
