A very popular pattern in East Coast Swing, the Flirtation Rollout, lets the Gentleman really show off his Lady. A favorite of beginning as well as advanced dancers, the Rollout features a "Flirtation" or wrapped position -- also called a Sweetheart position, were the Gentleman brings the Lady to his side and parallel with him. Video 1 shows you what the pattern looks like. Then you'll see how to do the footwork for both the Gentleman and the Lady and how the man leads the pattern. Our instructors then will give you some tips on technique, showing you common mistakes, how you can avoid them and make your Rollout smoother and better.
