SALSA SWIVELS
TC Dance Club Kansas City

Salsa Swivels are a intermediate pattern. Sassy and fun to do, Swivels are also seen in other Latin dances like Cha Cha and Rumba. In all cases, the Swivel pattern begins with a Cross Over Break. The secret to a good Swivel, keep your shoulders still and use your torso to swivel only your lower body. In Video 1 you can see what the Salsa Swivel pattern looks like and how it is counted. Video 1 then breaks down the Gentleman's footwork and then the Lady's footwork.

Video 2 will show you what the Salsa Swivels look like danced to music and combined with the Salsa basic step and other Salsa patterns.
